Relax - Consider the interview as a good relaxed conversation. Please do not take interview as an interrogation. You may be concerned on how to impress the interview board. At the sametime you should realize that the interview board is also interested on making a good impression on the candidate.

Be positive – Try to make others comfortable. Talk on positive ideas, experiences etc. Don’t make negative comments on your previous client, project, manager, team etc.

Be on time – This is interpreted as a demonstration of your commitment and professionalism. If you reach 15-30 minutes early you can relax and make yourself comfortable for the interview. Many clients may have security or HR procedures which may take time, so you need to consider those aspects as well.

Bio Data – Keep few extra copies of your resume with you.

Be a good listener – Communication is like a two way bridge. Listen to the questions and interviewer comments carefully. Don’t interrupt the interviewer communications. Understand the question and clarify if needed.

Show self-confidence – Show confidence while you talk, shake hand etc. Make eye contact with the interviewer. Answer questions in a clear voice.
